1-Can Spain be considered a worldwide leader in reproductive medicine?
Spain is one of the best countries in the world in these treatments because the Spanish law is very clear and the protection of the law gives much security, both to patients and doctors. Our legislation provides assisted reproductive techniques involving egg donation, genetic selection of embryos to avoid the risk of transmission of certain diseases, as well as the absolute a nonymity of sperm and egg donors.
2-Spain accounts for 40% of reproductive tourism, why do they choose us for fertility treatments? Is Alicante an international leader?
Our country is almost always the first choice for the high level of technology, medicine, and assistance. We have the best ingredients: talent, technology, research, and experience. Alicante specifically meets all these elements, and one more: a tourist destination of high quality and demand.
3-What are the most demanded treatments currently?
Although in vitro fertilization and gamete donation are the most demanded, within Reproductive Medicine treatments are personalized for each patient. Each case is unique. It is the key to achieving the greatest chance of pregnancy.
